How about Bel Air Crest specifically… what is happening in our wonderful community? I don’t know about you, but I am so happy that we are coming to the end of the road with the construction project on the 405 and surrounding area ; at the moment, they in the process of re stripping the lanes on the freeway and surface streets and doing the landscaping. Their projected date for finishing at our front door is sometime early fall! Don’t you just love the freeway on ramp closure signs that are pointing in the wrong direction? As for Real Estate, we are in a different position than we were last year. We have the same low inventory in the community than exists all over. We currently have 3 homes for sale, 1 Canyon and 1 Custom, and 1 custom lot vs. 2 Canyon, 4 Custom homes and 1 custom lot in the 2nd quarter of ’13. There are 4 Canyon homes, including one that is a private sale in escrow, and 1 Custom home in escrow. Last year there was 1 home in escrow. We have 2 Custom homes that have closed escrow, and last year, we had 5 closed escrows, 3 Canyon & 2 Custom. For the first time in a long time we have a number of homes available for lease, 3 Canyon, and 2 Custom vs. none last year, and leased 4 Canyon, and 1 Custom, vs. 3 homes leased this past quarter, 1 Canyon and 2 Custom. There are two homes that are currently off the market that were also on and off the market for the 2nd quarter last year. I have a number of potential buyers on my Bel Air Crest Wish list, so please do give me a call if you are thinking of selling your home.
